Satria fights in a boxing tournament, but is knocked out by his opponent. He can’t pay his son’s surgery fees with the money he earns as a gardener, and his wife returns her parents to bring up their son alone. In a bar, Satria meets Ellyas, once a famous boxer whose name is now forgotten. Ellyas agrees to train Satria for a tournament for a share in the prize money. When Satria’s son becomes ill, his wife attacks the surgeons who will not operate without being paid. This match is Satria’s opportunity to get the prize for his son’s surgery.

Rina Harahap graduated from Jakarta Institute of Arts with a Film Production. Her thesis film, One Roof Two World screened at International Women Film Festival. She has produced 9 music videos of the famous singer and band in Indonesia, 4 television commercials, two public service announcements from government company in Indonesia, seven company profiles, eight short movies and producer assistant for feature film “Heart Break.com” and production assistant for four feature films in Indonesia. The latest project as researcher and fixer documentary for Koncern TV, Denmark with the theme is Indonesia food, 8 August until 5 September 2011.

I want to make this film because it will give me a mirror to reflect the reality facing Indonesians – having to fight to achieve our dream, with hard work and struggle. This film aims to reveal if you have desire or aspiration, you must take a risk and hard work for its realization and to make it happen. This film portrays the economic problems and limited access to health for a poor people in Indonesia. Our main character, Satria, cannot pay hospital fees, and he therefore cannot bring his son for a much needed operation. He has to face the reality that he cannot earn enough to cover the basic needs his family. His dreams to be a Real Champion, must now made concrete. He has to face realty full on.
